Rockstar's 'Only in Leonida' Places section documents the state and its six confirmed regions — Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga National Park. Vice City carries the heading 'Everything in Excess' and the standfirst "We're a long way from the '80s, but Vice City is still the sun and fun capital of America."

The gameplay reveal explains the systems behind the footage: Jason and Lucia as a switchable pair whose relationship is a system that can turn romantic or stay platonic; a wanted meter back up to six stars with NOOSE at the top and 'hollow stars' for when police have no confirmed description; aiming that marks lethal red points and yellow joint-disabling markers; robberies built around a speed-versus-value trade-off; and tiered vehicle security broken with a Slim Jim minigame or a key cloner, scanned in advance with the WAINK app. Rockstar also confirmed Leonida is roughly twice the size of GTA V's map, Vice City about double Los Santos, and more than 600,000 NPC animations against roughly 55,000 in GTA V.

Grand Theft Auto VI releases on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar describes it as the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet, set in the state of Leonida and following the criminal partnership of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Editions span a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition, with a Vintage Vice City Pack offered as a pre-order bonus.
